The first Women's Grazing School in Alberta was in 2003. This year schools were held in three areas of Alberta. The 4th Southern Alberta school was held near Elkwater, Alberta

Mead is a type of wine made out of honey. Last year Chinook Honey was granted approval to operate one of Alberta's first meaderies.
